CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, installed a new water line to feed the Ard Musabbih and Al-Azayza displacement camps in Deir al-Balah.
CMWU, in cooperation with the Palestinian Water Authority and Deir al-Balah Municipality, and in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross, carried out drilling and installation works on a new 50mm-diameter HDPE water line to feed shelter camps in Deir al-Balah city.
This line is being implemented to serve both the Ard Musabbih camp and the Al-Azayza camp, aiming to strengthen water access and improve the service provided to residents, particularly in areas suffering from weak water supply as a result of difficult humanitarian conditions.
CMWU affirmed that these works are part of a series of emergency interventions it is implementing in cooperation with its partners, to ensure the continuity of water services and facilitate their reach to the various affected areas.
