CMWU teams, in cooperation with Al-Nuseirat Municipality, carried out urgent maintenance works at the water desalination plant in the Al-Naqeeb area of Al-Nuseirat, as part of its ongoing efforts to maintain the continuity of water services provided to residents amid the difficult conditions.
The maintenance works included repairing technical faults that had affected the plant, which has a production capacity of approximately 40 cubic meters per day. The plant was successfully brought back into operation, ensuring the continued production and supply of safe drinking water to the areas it serves.
The maintenance works were carried out amid significant field challenges and difficulties facing CMWU teams, most notably the acute shortage of spare parts, materials, and technical supplies required for maintenance. This requires additional efforts to make the best use of available resources and capabilities and identify suitable alternatives to ensure the restoration of water facilities and maintain the continuity of their essential services.
