CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, began repairing the rainwater drainage system in Al-Maghazi in preparation for the winter season.
In cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Maghazi Municipality and in field coordination with the Water Authority, began repairing the main rainwater drainage system in Al-Maghazi, with the work including repairing concrete rainwater drainage channels, and due to the unavailability of construction materials, prefabricated pipes will be used. The locations to be repaired are among the most important collection lines of the rainwater drainage system in Al-Maghazi.
This activity comes as part of a group of activities to prepare for the rainy season, and it is worth noting that a group of similar repairs will be carried out in Khan Younis, Deir al-Balah, and Nuseirat.
