CMWU, with support from UNICEF, removed rubble in Al-Shati camp in Gaza ahead of maintaining damaged sanitation networks and rainwater drains.
CMWU, with support from UNICEF and in cooperation with Gaza Municipality, carried out rubble removal works in the Al-Sawi Street area next to Al-Sayyad Building in Al-Shati, west of Gaza City, ahead of carrying out maintenance works on sanitation networks, manholes, and rainwater drains, which sustained significant damage as a result of recent Israeli bombardment that struck the area.
This intervention is part of ongoing efforts to rehabilitate basic infrastructure facilities and improve the services provided to citizens in the affected areas.
It is worth noting that CMWU crews are working as part of the recovery plan at more than one location within Gaza City, aiming to accelerate the pace of repair and ensure the continuity of vital services for residents.
