CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, repaired the transmission line for the Hisbat Al-Samak pumping station in Khan Younis, which serves over 100,000 people.

Repair of the Sewage Transmission Line for the Hisbat Al-Samak Pumping Station in Khan Younis

CMWU, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality and in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross, and in coordination with the Palestinian Water Authority, carried out maintenance and repair works on the sewage transmission line for the Hisbat Al-Samak pumping station, located in Khan Younis city, in the Bani Suheila junction area.

This station is one of the vital stations in the city, collecting and pumping sewage and transferring it to the sanitation basins west of the governorate, and serves more than 100,000 residents of the area.

This intervention is part of CMWU's efforts aimed at improving sanitation services and ensuring the safe and effective continued operation of vital facilities to serve citizens.
