CMWU, funded by Anera, replaced a sewage network in Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis (2,000 meters), serving 5,000 residents.
A glimpse of the works of the sewage network replacement project in Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip, implemented by CMWU in partnership with and funded by Anera and in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality.
The project includes laying main lines 2,000 meters long, and installing subsidiary connections for residents' homes on the network, and filling in all the absorption pits, with the project aiming to eliminate the resulting health hazards, which negatively affect the groundwater aquifer, and this project serves about 5,000 residents.
