CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, repaired the rainwater network in the Jamal Abdel Nasser area of Khan Younis, which was targeted by bombardment in early 2024.
In field coordination with the Palestinian Water Authority, and in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Khan Younis Municipality, CMWU repaired the rainwater network in the Jamal Abdel Nasser area of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip, with the work including repairing the line at two locations on the same street, with a diameter of 600mm.
It is worth noting that the rainwater line was targeted during the military operation in Khan Younis in early 2024, and this activity is part of a group of activities carried out by CMWU aimed at repairing the rainwater system in various areas of Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis Governorates.
