Repairing the sewage transmission line from the central pumping station to the treatment plant in Jabalia after direct bombardment, funded by the Red Cross, to serve about 400,000 people.
After being directly bombed during the Israeli aggression, CMWU, in cooperation with the municipalities of North Gaza governorate and the Water Authority, and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, succeeded in repairing the sewage transmission line from the central pumping station to the treatment plant east of Jabalia, as this line works to transport sewage water coming from all cities of North Gaza governorate to the treatment plant, and is considered one of the most important lines in the sanitation system in North Gaza governorate, serving about 400,000 people, with its shutdown having led to sewage water being directed into random pools in Beit Lahia city, which pose a great danger to the environment and residents' lives.
The works also included maintaining the transmission line for Tal Al-Za'tar sanitation station, 14 inches in diameter, and the main water line feeding Al-Manshiya and Beisan areas, which sustained severe damage as a result of Israeli bombardment.
