CMWU, funded by UNICEF, began repairing the transmission line for the Al-Saftawi sanitation station in Jabalia by installing a new line serving 30,000 people.

Funded by UNICEF, CMWU began repair works on the sewage transmission line for the Al-Saftawi pumping station, located in Jabalia city, north of the Gaza Strip.

The project includes extending and installing a new 500mm-diameter, 1-kilometer HDPE transmission line, to serve about 30,000 residents of the area.

This intervention is necessary and important to prevent sewage buildup and overflow, and to ensure the continued efficient operation of the pumping station, contributing to protecting the environment and public health, and improving the quality of sanitation services in the area.
