
Constructing a 1,000-meter sanitation network on Street No. 9 west of Gaza and Al-Hurriya Street, funded by Anera, in addition to similar networks in Beit Hanoun and Rafah.
CMWU, in cooperation with Gaza Municipality and funded by Anera, continues work on the project to construct a sanitation network in the Street No. 9 area west of Gaza city and Al-Hurriya Street, with the project including installing a 1,000-meter network, in addition to installing household connections, and closing off old cesspits that had become a danger to residents' health and the environment, with the project's value amounting to about $60,000.
CMWU also, during the past few days, constructed a sanitation network in various areas of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, funded by Anera, with the project including constructing a sanitation network in the Al-Nazaza and Al-Masriyeen areas and other various areas of Beit Hanoun town in places lacking a safe sanitation system, with the total length of those networks reaching 2,000 meters of various diameters, serving about 5,000 people, in addition to constructing a sanitation network in Al-Furqan neighborhood in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.
