Beginning the rehabilitation of the water network on Al-Shuhada Street in Abasan Al-Kabira over 1,200 meters, funded by Action Against Hunger, to reduce network loss and raise efficiency.

Beginning Implementation of the Water Network Rehabilitation Project on Al-Shuhada Street in Abasan Al-Kabira

CMWU, in cooperation with Abasan Al-Kabira Municipality and in partnership with and funded by Action Against Hunger (ACF), began implementing the project to rehabilitate the water network on Al-Shuhada Street in Abasan Al-Kabira, with the work extending from the Abu Al-Ezz area intersection to the eastern Abu Salah neighborhood, 1,200 meters long, with the project including installing 110mm-diameter UPVC pipes, valves, household connections, and all installation accessories. The project also includes rehabilitating a water well at the elevated reservoir and an emergency connection to the public network.

The project will also replace worn-out lines, in order to raise the efficiency and improve the water networks and reduce the network loss rate.
