Beginning to Implement a Sewage Network Construction Project in Nuseirat Camp
Gaza / CMWU
CMWU began laying sewage networks in Nuseirat camp, funded by Anera and in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality, with the project including installing a pump to pump sewage water into the main network in Abu Mahadi area, in addition to installing sewage pipes ranging in diameter from 8 to 10 inches. The project serves residents of Ajour Street area, Dhu Al-Nurain Mosque, and Abu Mahadi area.
This project comes as part of the projects through which CMWU seeks to improve the environmental and health situation in places lacking sewage networks and systems in the Gaza Strip, in addition to eliminating cesspits, which cause numerous environmental problems for residents in those areas.
It is worth noting that CMWU is implementing numerous sewage network projects in various areas of the Gaza Strip and will continue working to connect the remaining areas, particularly after the construction of the Central treatment plants.
