Completion of the Rehabilitation and Development Project for "Hawaber" Sewage Pumping Station in Jabalia City

Funded by the Office of the UN Special Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in partnership with Action Against Hunger (ACF), CMWU, in cooperation with Jabalia Municipality, completed implementing the rehabilitation and development project for Hawaber sewage pumping station in Jabalia city, north of the Gaza Strip, with the project including replacing the station's manifold and transmission line and all its damaged parts, in addition to installing a fourth pump at the station, aiming to raise its efficiency and strengthen its ability to operate as required, particularly during the winter season.
It is worth noting that Hawaber sewage pumping station is considered one of the important pumping stations in Jabalia city, serving residents in the Amer, Al-Saftawi, and Al-Qar'a Al-Khamisa areas in Jabalia and Al-Salatin in Beit Lahia, numbering about 160,000 people.
