
CMWU, with support from Oxfam, completed the rehabilitation of the North Al-Wakala well in Khan Younis, which feeds the Al-Buraq reservoir and the city's western neighborhoods.

The well serves the western neighborhoods of the city by feeding the Al-Buraq reservoir, which supplies water to the Japanese neighborhood, the Emirati neighborhood, the Dutch neighborhood, the Western Camp, and Al-Amal neighborhood, in addition to a number of surrounding areas.
The works also included supplying and installing a 110 KVA electric generator with support from Oxfam, strengthening the sustainability of the well's operation and the continued delivery of service to citizens.
