CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, completed the rehabilitation of the Nama well in Al-Maghazi camp (60 cubic meters per hour), serving over 10,000 people.
CMWU, in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross and in cooperation with Al-Maghazi Municipality, completed the rehabilitation works on the Nama well located in Block (4) of Al-Maghazi camp, as part of joint efforts to develop and improve water networks in the camp, and within the framework of ongoing efforts to improve water services and strengthen the sustainability of water resources.
The rehabilitation works included installing a new electrical panel, in addition to a 30-horsepower pump with a production capacity of 60 cubic meters per hour, contributing to improving pumping efficiency and providing water to citizens more effectively.
This well serves more than 10,000 residents of the area, making it a vital source for securing their daily water needs and strengthening the stability of supplies amid the difficult conditions facing the Strip.
