The administration of Al-Wafaa Hospital for Elderly Care honored CMWU, in appreciation of its efforts and role in rehabilitating and maintaining the hospital's own water desalination plant, which works to secure the hospital's needs of water suitable for use by the hospital's various departments, and also contributes to preserving the medical devices and equipment that are negatively affected by high water salinity, and this came during a visit by a delegation from Al-Wafaa Center for Elderly Care to CMWU's headquarters in Al-Zahra city, central Gaza Strip, in the presence of CMWU's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq and his Deputy for Planning and Projects Affairs Eng. Maher Al-Najjar.

In turn, Eng. Monther Shoblaq affirmed that CMWU will never hesitate to provide its services related to the water and sanitation sector to Al-Wafaa Hospital, which serves a wide segment of elderly people who have run out of options and have no one to care for them, and other institutions that provide their services to social groups living in exceptionally difficult circumstances in the Gaza Strip.
