Job Announcement (SCADA Operator)

Position: SCADA Operator (2 positions).
Workplace: Treatment Plant East of Al-Bureij.

Main Job Duties:

1. Monitoring and operating all the station's equipment/pumps via the SCADA system and proposing operational adjustments.
2. Coordinating with the direct manager to modify PLC/SCADA variables and recording those changes.
3. Monitoring water lines, sludge lines, and the digester system through the SCADA system.
4. Ensuring the station's efficiency meets or exceeds the guaranteed performance values through the SCADA system.
5. Recording and maintaining data in logs and computerized databases.
6. Assisting in compiling and preparing SCADA reports and submitting them to the direct manager.
7. Providing operational recommendations to the direct manager and assisting in maintenance decisions based on instructions, laboratory data, and data recorded in the previous shift's log.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, with preference given to holders of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
2. No less than three years of experience in SCADA operation.
3. Good knowledge of using SCADA software.
4. Good knowledge of control devices.
5. Good knowledge of handling electrical devices.
6. Fluency in spoken and written English at a good level.
7. Knowledge of computer use and MS Office programs at an intermediate level.
