Job Announcement (Central Pumping Station Operator)

Position: Central Pumping Station Operator (3 positions).
Workplace: Central Pumping Station in Wadi Gaza.

Main Job Duties:

1. Responsible for operating all the station's mechanical and electrical equipment correctly and safely.
2. Working with maintenance teams to complete routine maintenance and repair works according to the manufacturer's manual/supplies and the operation and maintenance manual.
3. Diagnosing the need for non-routine corrective maintenance works and preventive maintenance works and preparing reports on them for maintenance.
4. Diagnosing mechanical problems, and coordinating to fix malfunctions in participation with mechanical and electrical technicians.
5. Periodically recording the condition of pumps and mechanical equipment and the works carried out.
6. Maintaining and monitoring tools, equipment, and inventory, and keeping the workplace clean after finishing work.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
2. No less than three years of experience in operating pumping units.
3. Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.
4. Ability to write and converse in English at an intermediate level.
5. Ability to use MS Office programs at an intermediate level.
