Job Announcement (Health, Safety, and Environment HSE Engineer)

Position: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer (1 position).
Workplace: Treatment Plant East of Al-Bureij.

Main Job Duties:

1. Assessing risks throughout the workplace.
2. Identifying the corrective and preventive measures needed to avoid, prevent, and reduce risks.
3. Setting health and safety plans.
4. Setting occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and procedures.
5. Spreading a safety-first culture at all levels through training and awareness programs.
6. Conducting periodic checks to verify the availability and use of personal protective equipment.
7. Verifying the implementation of safety standards and the incident monitoring and recording process.
8. Keeping incident records alongside the phone numbers of doctors and hospitals.
9. Supporting management in developing emergency and incident response, and ensuring these plans are set, implemented, followed up, and reviewed.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Civil Engineering.
2. No less than five years of experience in the environment, health, and safety field.
3. Courses in occupational health and safety standards and procedures.
4. Fluency in spoken and written English at a good level or above.
5. Knowledge of MS Office programs at a good level or above.
