Job Announcement

Position: Electrical and Control Engineer.
Workplace: CMWU's Main Headquarters in Al-Zahra.
Application deadline: February 17, 2021.

Main Job Duties:

1. Following up on preparing, equipping, implementing, and supervising various works related to operation and maintenance activities for the various electrical systems at water and sanitation facilities.
2. Working effectively within the Energy Efficiency Management team for water and sanitation facilities regarding achieving goals according to the specifications related to various activities such as installing solar power systems and improving the operational efficiency of electrical systems, and others.
3. Supervising the implementation of contractors' works for electrical constructions and installations at various water and sanitation facilities.
4. Supervising and following up on the installation and programming of remote control devices at wells and plants and their associated equipment and programs.
5. Preparing and equipping various operation and maintenance reports related to the works and electrical systems at water and sanitation facilities.
6. Reviewing, auditing, and modifying the PLC programs operating at plants and wells, and monitoring and following up on everything related to the remote control and monitoring devices at these facilities.
7. Following up on operation and maintenance reports coming from various sites and areas related to measuring device readings and preparing the necessary reports.
8. Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports.
9. Any related work assigned by CMWU.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. No less than three years of experience in maintaining electrical control panels.
3. Very good command of spoken and written English.
4. Very good proficiency in MS Office programs.
5. Good knowledge of remote monitoring and control systems.
6. Ability to deal with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and their operational requirements.
7. Ability to program PLC devices and remote monitoring and control devices.
8. Ability to read and understand catalogs, specifications, and electrical drawings.
9. Ability to prepare electrical diagrams using AutoCAD software.
10. Ability to deal with various types of electrical and electronic devices and diagnose malfunctions.
11. Age not exceeding 35 years.
