Restoration of the Central Area seawater desalination plant to operation this evening, with CMWU resuming its programs for supplying shelter centers and displaced persons' tent gatherings across all areas with drinking water, particularly amid the continuing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and rising temperatures.
It is worth noting that the Central Area seawater desalination plant had stopped operating over the past two days as a result of the depletion of the fuel needed to operate it, worsening the suffering of displaced persons after the process of supplying residents and displaced persons with desalinated drinking water was halted.
