CMWU, with support from UNICEF and in cooperation with Jabalia Municipality, continues to carry out rehabilitation works on the Hawaber sewage pumping station in Jabalia town, aiming to restore its operation and prepare it to work at the minimum level of its operational capacity, after it went out of service as a result of damage sustained from Israeli bombardment.
This intervention is part of efforts to ensure the continuity of sanitation services and reduce environmental and health risks, as restoring the station's operation is expected to contribute to serving more than 40,000 residents and displaced persons in the area.
