Restoration of the Saudi Reservoir Water Well in Rafah to Service to Ease Residents' Suffering
CMWU restored the Saudi Reservoir water well in Rafah city to service, after the Utility's technical crews carried out the necessary maintenance and rehabilitation works on the well.
This step is part of the Utility's efforts aimed at gradually restoring water services in Rafah Governorate, to ease the suffering of residents returning to their homes, particularly given the significant damage sustained by water and sanitation facilities in the governorate as a result of the recent military operations.
The well serves the residents of the Saudi 1, 2, and 3 neighborhoods and surrounding areas, with a production capacity of about 70 cubic meters per hour.
The water utility praised the efforts of the technical crews, who repaired the well in record time, affirming the continuation of work to rehabilitate more affected facilities, to ensure water is provided to residents and improve living conditions in the governorate.
