CMWU Begins Maintenance of the Saudi Reservoir to Restore It to Service in Rafah
CMWU began carrying out urgent maintenance works on the Saudi reservoir located in Rafah Governorate, aiming to restore it to service and operate it after it sustained severe damage as a result of bombardment and the military operations the area witnessed.
The maintenance works include rehabilitating the water well connected to the reservoir, in addition to repairing the reservoir itself to ensure water is provided to the affected areas.
This step is part of the Utility's efforts to gradually restore water services, which were severely affected by the significant destruction sustained by Rafah Governorate.
