Supplying Water Wells with Disinfection Materials for Three Months in Partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council

CMWU, in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council, is supplying all water wells and sources in the Strip with disinfection chemicals for three months, as part of a project funded by the Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund.

CMWU, in partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), is working to supply all water wells and sources in the Gaza Strip with the chemicals needed to disinfect water for three consecutive months starting mid-December (January), as part of the "Emergency Support Project for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Service Providers in Gaza to Reduce Health Risks Related to COVID-19", funded by the Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund, with this project aiming to provide sodium hypochlorite and the chemicals needed to chlorinate and disinfect drinking water and protect it from contamination during transport and distribution in the networks spread across all cities of the Gaza Strip, particularly amid the current conditions.
