CMWU, with support from Medecins Sans Frontieres Holland and Clean Shelter, upgraded the desalination plant at its emergency headquarters west of Khan Younis, raising its capacity to 100 cubic meters per hour.
A glimpse of the upgrade works on the desalination plant at CMWU's emergency headquarters west of Khan Younis, with support from Medecins Sans Frontieres Holland and the Clean Shelter Foundation, where two new desalination units with a total capacity of 30 m3/hour were installed, and a submersible well with a capacity of 70 m3/hour was drilled, in addition to installing two tanks with capacities of 150 and 100 m3, contributing to raising the plant's production capacity to 100 m3/hour to meet the needs of residents and displaced persons amid difficult humanitarian conditions.
