CMWU, in cooperation with and funded by UNICEF, handed over water and sanitation pipes to the municipalities of Gaza and North Governorates, to be used in maintenance works on water and sanitation networks in various areas, with trucks loaded and equipped with the pipes from CMWU's warehouses west of Khan Younis.

These materials were brought into Gaza city and the north of the Strip after efforts by UNICEF in cooperation with the water utility, to bring water and sanitation pipes into Gaza city and Jabalia, to be used in repairing the networks destroyed as a result of continued Israeli bombardment, which will enable the restoration of life-saving services in the various affected residential areas.
