
CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, began installing seven desalination plants in Ma'an, Bir Ayya, Al-Qarara, and Al-Maghazi.
CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, began installing desalination plants in various areas of the central and southern Strip, to provide drinking water to residents and displaced persons in those areas, particularly amid the continuing Israeli war and the essential need for safe drinking water.
The project will involve installing seven desalination plants, six with a capacity of 50 cubic meters per day and one with a capacity of 100 cubic meters per day, with a desalination plant installed in the Ma'an area, at Bir Ayya, and other areas in Khan Younis, and a desalination plant installed next to Ailaboun School in Al-Qarara, in addition to a desalination plant in Al-Maghazi camp.
