Installing steel doors for the pump room at Al-Bassa pumping station in Deir al-Balah to facilitate maintenance and protect workers, funded by the German government through GIZ.
CMWU installed "stainless steel" doors for the pump room at "Al-Bassa" sewage pumping station in Deir al-Balah city, central Gaza Strip, in order to facilitate the periodic maintenance operations for the station and protect the station's workers from the risks of falling inside the pump room.
This comes as part of the emergency repair and maintenance project linked to combating the coronavirus, implemented by CMWU in cooperation with the German development organization GIZ, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
