Supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross, CMWU distributed chlorine solution to all municipalities of the Gaza Strip, for use in disinfecting water and sanitation facilities in addition to public places within those municipalities' jurisdiction, particularly amid the spread of the coronavirus in the Gaza Strip.
It is worth noting that CMWU periodically distributes chlorine solution and all disinfection supplies and protective clothing against the coronavirus to all workers in the water and sanitation sector in the Gaza Strip, aiming to protect them from the risks of the coronavirus spreading in the Gaza Strip and enable them to carry out their work to ensure the continued provision of services to residents.
