CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Deir al-Balah Municipality, connected a water well to the water distribution network in the Hakr Al-Jame' area of Deir al-Balah city, central Gaza Strip.

This well serves the Al-Hakr area and its surrounding areas, whose population is about 30,000 people, aiming to strengthen water supplies in the city, particularly after the eastern water wells went out of service as a result of Israeli military operations, and the cutoff of Mekorot water since last January.
