CMWU, with support from UNICEF, directed water tankers to Al-Zeitoun neighborhood and other areas after the Mekorot line was cut, with Ramadan approaching.
CMWU, in cooperation with UNICEF, directed its water tankers to the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood area and a number of neighborhoods most in need of water, following the disruption of the Mekorot water line supplying Gaza City.
This intervention comes in response to the increased need for drinking water, particularly with the onset of the holy month of Ramadan, and out of concern for easing citizens' suffering and ensuring the continued arrival of water to affected families.
