CMWU, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, repaired the water well of Al-Noor camp west of the church area in Khan Younis city, where the works included repairing the submersible pump, which has a capacity of 40 horsepower and a production rate of up to 60 cubic meters per hour, one of the largest submersible pumps in the camps, contributing to meeting the water needs of at least 7,000 displaced persons, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the continuity of water services amid difficult humanitarian conditions.
This intervention is part of a series of interventions implemented by the Utility amid difficult conditions, aiming to serve residents and displaced persons and ensure the minimum continuity of water services in the affected areas.
