CMWU urgently maintained the conveyance line from the southern plant to the Canada reservoir in Rafah and the Al-Amal reservoir in Khan Younis.

CMWU carried out emergency maintenance for the water conveyance line from the seawater desalination plant south of the Gaza Strip, with this line transferring water to the Canada water reservoir in Rafah, which serves residents in the Al-Sultan and Canada neighborhoods and the eastern areas of Rafah and other areas, numbering about 100,000 residents, in addition to the Al-Amal reservoir in Khan Younis, with this line considered one of the important water sources for Rafah and Khan Younis cities.

It is worth noting that the three seawater desalination plants in the Gaza Strip, located along the Strip's coastal strip, are considered among the most important strategic projects in the Gaza Strip, aiming to improve the water service for residents and ease the burden on the groundwater aquifer.
