Emergency maintenance of the sewage transmission line in Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah after a complaint from residents.
CMWU's crews carried out emergency maintenance on one of the "transmission" sewage lines in Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip, aiming to raise its efficiency and rehabilitate it and end residents' suffering from the health hazards caused by this line's malfunction, as this line serves a large number of residents and works to transport sewage water to Tal Al-Sultan pumping station, which pumps it to the treatment plant in Rafah.
This intervention comes as part of CMWU's follow-up on the progress of work at all water and sanitation facilities in Rafah city and in response to a complaint received from the area's residents.
