CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, maintained the pressure transmission line for the Al-Husseiniya sewage pumping station in Nuseirat.
CMWU, in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality, and in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross, carried out emergency maintenance work on the pressure transmission line for the Al-Husseiniya sewage pumping station in Nuseirat, central Gaza Strip, to protect residents and displaced persons in the area from the risks of sewage overflow resulting from the damage sustained by the line.
These works fall under the heavy machinery and equipment rental and labor provision project for the Strip's municipalities, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, to support the municipalities' efforts in carrying out emergency maintenance of water and sanitation networks and facilities.
