CMWU, in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross, and in cooperation with Deir al-Balah Municipality, carried out urgent maintenance on water well No. J32, after its efficiency significantly declined as a result of damage to its pipes and parts caused by high water salinity.

The maintenance works included replacing the damaged parts and carrying out the necessary repairs, which enabled restoring the well to operation at the required efficiency, and raising its production capacity to about 75 cubic meters per hour, which will contribute to improving the quantity of water reaching citizens and expanding the scope of service.

These interventions are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the continuity of water services amid difficult conditions, and ensure water reaches the largest possible number of residents.
