CMWU, funded by Oxfam, maintained water and sanitation networks in Al-Bureij camp, beginning with the Al-Nashash junction.
CMWU, in partnership with the Friends of the Environment Association and funded by Oxfam, and in cooperation with Al-Bureij Municipality, began carrying out maintenance works on a number of water and sanitation networks in scattered areas of Al-Bureij camp, central Gaza Strip, particularly those that sustained severe damage during the Israeli occupation's incursion into the camp.
Work began at the first of these areas in the camp, at the Al-Nashash junction, where the water and sanitation networks in this area will be maintained by replacing the damaged networks, to improve water and sanitation services for the area's residents.
It is worth noting that, through the project, scattered maintenance works will be carried out covering many of the damaged areas in Al-Bureij, most notably Hittin Street, the southern entrance to Al-Bureij.
