It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation destroyed this plant during the ground operation in Khan Younis Governorate, and as soon as the Israeli withdrawal from the governorate took place, in March 2024, the water utility assessed the plant and prepared the technical documents for its repair, and began repairing it, with the plant's operation expected during the current week.
This plant is a central plant in east Khan Younis, capable of producing 50 cubic meters/hour.
