Maintenance of the Sanitation Network on Jalal Street and the Japanese Neighborhood in Khan Younis

CMWU, with support from the Red Cross, maintained the sanitation network on Jalal Street, Al-Muaskar, Al-Kasiha, and the Japanese neighborhood in Khan Younis.

CMWU, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality and as part of the heavy machinery rental and labor provision project funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, carried out maintenance works on part of the sanitation network on Jalal Street and in the Al-Muaskar, Al-Kasiha, and Japanese neighborhood areas of Khan Younis city.

The works included repairing damaged networks and installing new sanitation manholes to replace damaged ones, in addition to cleaning network lines and sanitation manholes, contributing to improving service efficiency, reducing environmental and health problems, and strengthening the continuity of sanitation service delivery to residents amid the difficult conditions facing the Gaza Strip.
