Maintenance and Rehabilitation of the Taj Al-Waqar Desalination Plant in Nuseirat Camp

CMWU, in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality, restored the Taj Al-Waqar desalination plant in the camp to operation after it stopped during the war (480 cubic meters per day).

CMWU's engineering crews, in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality, carried out maintenance and rehabilitation works on the Taj Al-Waqar desalination plant in Nuseirat camp, central Gaza Strip, after it had stopped operating during the war, as part of efforts to restore damaged vital facilities to operation.

The works included repairing the technical faults and inspecting the operating systems, in preparation for restoring the plant to operation with a production capacity of 480 cubic meters of desalinated water per day, contributing to meeting the needs of residents of central Nuseirat and improving the state of drinking water supplies.
