Maintenance and rehabilitation of Khadija water well in Beit Hanoun, funded by the German government through GIZ, to serve about 4,000 people.
CMWU, in cooperation with Beit Hanoun Municipality, maintained and rehabilitated Khadija water well in Beit Hanoun city, north of the Gaza Strip, aiming to improve the water services provided to residents in the areas benefiting from the well, as this well serves about 4,000 people.
This comes as part of the emergency repair and maintenance project linked to combating the coronavirus, implemented by CMWU in cooperation with the German development organization GIZ.
The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility has maintained and rehabilitated the Khadija water well in the city of Beit Hanoun in cooperation with the Municipality of Beit Hanoun in the Northern Governorate of Gaza Strip. This well is serving 4000 inhabitants of the City.
This comes within the framework of the emergency repair and maintenance project related to fighting against the Coronavirus, which is implemented by the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility upon an agreement signed with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
