CMWU, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and in cooperation with Wadi Al-Salqa Municipality, carried out maintenance and rehabilitation works on the Western Al-Ma'sara water well in Wadi Al-Salqa town, central Gaza Strip, and restored it to service.
The well is one of the important sources supplying Wadi Al-Salqa town with water, contributing to improving water access for hundreds of families in the area, particularly given the difficult conditions facing the Strip.
It is worth noting that the well had experienced technical faults and damage that reduced its efficiency and caused it to partially go out of service, where the maintenance works included repairing the pump, carrying out the necessary technical works, and ensuring the well's readiness to operate efficiently, contributing to strengthening the continuity of water services and easing residents' suffering amid current conditions.
