CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Al-Bureij Municipality, carried out maintenance and repair works on water and sanitation lines in the Block (1) area of Al-Bureij camp, central Strip, after these networks sustained severe damage as a result of Israeli bombardment.

The maintenance works began on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in the Block (1) area, Deir Yassin Street, and include replacing and repairing damaged pipes, removing the health hazards spread within the neighborhood, and ensuring water flows effectively to the neighboring residential neighborhoods and improving the distribution process.

These efforts are part of ongoing endeavors to rehabilitate the water and sanitation network infrastructure, which was severely damaged as a result of the Israeli war, worsening health and environmental problems.
