As part of the emergency repair and maintenance project linked to combating the coronavirus, implemented by CMWU in cooperation with the German development organization GIZ, CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Maghazi Municipality, carried out maintenance on S90 water well in Al-Maghazi camp, central Gaza Strip, aiming to repair it and bring it back into service, particularly after it had been out of operation for several months, which negatively affected the water service in the areas fed with water by the well, as this well serves about 4,000 people.
The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility has carried out maintenance on the S90 water well in Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, to restore it to work after stopping for several months. This well serves about 4000 people.
This comes within the framework of the emergency repair and maintenance project related to fighting against the Coronavirus, which is implemented by the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility upon an agreement signed with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
