CMWU, with support from the Red Cross, maintained the Al-Jiyeh water well west of Al-Qarara, an area that has seen intense displacement, increasing pressure on water sources.
CMWU, with support from the International Committee of the Red Cross and in cooperation with Al-Qarara Municipality, carried out maintenance work on the Al-Jiyeh water well west of Al-Qarara town, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the continuity of water supply to residents and displaced persons and strengthen the efficiency of water sources in the area.
It is worth noting that the areas west of Al-Qarara witnessed intense displacement in the recent period, which doubled the pressure on available water sources and made securing sustainable water sources an urgent priority to meet the needs of residents and displaced persons and ensure the minimum level of essential services.
