
CMWU crews, in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality, repaired the Al-Naqib and Hamad desalination plants in the area to ensure continued water supply to residents and displaced persons.
CMWU crews, in cooperation with Nuseirat Municipality, carried out urgent maintenance work on two desalination plants in the Nuseirat area, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the continuity of water service delivery to citizens amid difficult conditions.
The maintenance works covered the Al-Naqib plant, with a production capacity of 40 cubic meters per day, in addition to the Hamad plant, with a production capacity of up to 30 cubic meters per day, where technical faults were repaired and both plants were restored to operation to ensure the supply of drinking water to residents and displaced persons in the beneficiary areas, with both plants serving a large number of beneficiaries.
This intervention is part of the ongoing cooperation between CMWU and the Gaza Strip's municipalities, to repair water and sanitation facilities with the resources available, contributing to maintaining the continuity of essential service delivery to citizens.
