CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, carried out urgent maintenance of a main sanitation line in Deir al-Balah serving Umm Zuheir and Al-Laham.
CMWU, in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross and in cooperation with Deir al-Balah Municipality, carried out urgent maintenance work on a main sanitation line in Deir al-Balah city, with a diameter of 12 inches, one of the vital lines in the city.
This line serves residents and displaced persons in the Umm Zuheir and Al-Laham areas and part of the southern Al-Hakr area, where the excess loads resulting from the high population density in the recent period caused recurring faults, requiring rapid technical intervention to ensure the continuity of service and prevent sewage leaks.
