CMWU temporarily pumped out accumulated sewage on Taha Hussein Street in Rafah pending repair of the transmission line.

CMWU carried out works to pump out the sewage accumulated in the network along Taha Hussein Street in Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, to prevent water from flowing into citizens' homes along the street.

These efforts are part of the temporary measures the Utility is taking pending the repair of the 630mm-diameter transmission line, as part of the maintenance projects planned for implementation in Rafah Governorate in the coming days.

It is worth noting that these mobile pumps were supplied with support from the International Committee of the Red Cross.
