CMWU, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Deir al-Balah Municipality, connected a new water well to the water distribution network in Deir al-Balah city, central Gaza Strip, where this well serves about 20,000 residents of the Al-Bee'a, Al-Masha'ala, Al-Bishara neighborhood, Imran, and Al-Bahar Street areas.
This project is part of efforts to strengthen water supplies in the city, particularly after the eastern water wells went out of service as a result of Israeli military operations, and the cutoff of Mekorot water since last January.
